Signs
The pictures in the gallery (as well as the banners at top of these pages) are some examples of the mostly whimsical but sometimes also useful board signs I've been making lately. If you would like a sign with the name of your town, your beach, your beach house or perhaps your boat or your pet or even your ranch, contact me and I will be happy to make a custom one for you.
About the materials
The signs are all made on old used boards. Many of the boards I use have seen years of service as bin boards in the ice (fish) holds of commercial fishing boats. Other boards are from torn down buildings or have been picked up on the bay shore during my frequent excursions there. The multiple board signs are often secured together with pieces of broken handles from oyster tongues, usually also found along the side of the bay.
